Does my insurance cover Non-Emergency services?
Most insurances will cover non-emergency transports once medical necessity is received. Please contact us for any assistance you may need to obtain coverage.
What does my insurance cover?
Your individual coverage will vary depending on your plan. To be sure your transport is covered, please contact your insurance company directly and work with your case manager if applicable.
What if I do not have medical coverage?
AMS does not withhold any type of emergency medical treatment or emergency transports service based on available medical coverage. If you require a special billing procedure, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How does AMS establish rates?
All rates for services are set at industry market standards, and as per our mission, we strive for low cost value based solutions for all our patients.
How do private ambulance companies differ from public ambulance services?
Private ambulance companies do not receive federal, state, or county tax money to operate like public ambulance companies do, but still provide the same or better capabilities. Can you provide a centralized call center for all our transport needs?
AMS can serve as your outsourced transport coordinator using our state-of-the-art 24/7 communications and dispatch center. We can monitor and coordinate all agencies and services your institution utilizes in addition to services we provide. Click here for our Health System solutions.
Do you do long distance transports?
AMS provides local and long-distance transports including international air transfers. To request a special quote, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you have bariatric services?
AMS provides all levels of transport needs and services, including bariatric patients using our specialized equipment and personnel.

What type of shifts do you offer?
AMS operates 24/7/365, and typical shifts are 24 hours each, with interspersed peak time shifts depending on market needs. Our personnel enjoy and appreciate the variety of shift opportunities, further making AMS a fantastic place to work.
